Talia was a potent elder of clan Tremere believed to speak with spirits and possibly see the future. Gustov Strauss selected her as his Seneschal almost immediate, causing much political speculation of their past relationships. Talia rarely involved herself with politics. It was rumored that she was more interested in other worlds beyond this one than day to day life. Jessica Wendell attempted to unseat her, but was unable to convince Gustov Strauss.
It was rumored for a time that she was Gustov's lover. She spent a great deal of time with him the last couple of months before the last Twelfth Night Ball. Gustov Strauss is said to have stopped the affair and it ended poorly.
It was also rumored that she had a feud with Klaus.
