Harpy Report 10/07/2007
So much is happening in our fair city. The leaves are changing colors and the winds are whipping the rain about in a frantic manner. While the Camarilla position solidifies, our enemies continually test our defenses, finding them strong. Autumn has indeed fallen upon the Emerald City.
The *exalted* Prince Belasco has made several of his policies clear and wishes them announced.
- THE CAITIFF
Prince Belasco has decreed that known and recognized Caitiff may reside within Seattle, but will require a clan to foster them. They will be watched and taken care of and kept out of trouble. He cited the infamous DJ Ten Ton of Portland as an example of what happens when we ignore and shun our Caitiff.
- THE ANARCHS
These are the words of Prince Belasco: "It is by the will of His Grace the Justicar that the Anarchs and the Camarilla exist side by side in the Puget Sound. Actions which deliberately agitate Seattle's neighbors will not be tolerated. However, the reverse is also true. Anarchs have acted against this domain, killing ghouls, assaulting Camarilla members, and rumors of worse. That will not be tolerated. The Anarch's domain has been respected, they are failing to return that respect."
I would call upon the leader MacCloud to make a declaration to match Prince Belasco's in order to restore trust, and act on it.
- BLOOD HUNT
Prince Belasco has ordered the blood hunt of the Nosferatu Anarch Lutin be strictly enforced within the Domain of Seattle. From information gathered by the Nosferatu Primogen it is believed that Lutin is either en route to Seattle or already here. It is known that he has a predilection for the innocent and children. It is not recommended that Kindred attempt to engage him alone.
And now onto the joyful business of social interactions and society.
- DIZZY J. THORN
The pop singer Dizzy J Thorn was brought to our meeting site, under the strict control of the Giovanni, I was assured. After belting out her latest hit, she left along with several others, to party up the town. It is my opinion that the Giovanni need to stop playing with their food and get her off the streets and out of the eyes of the paparazzi before she gets them into some very serious trouble with her antics.
- ROUX WHITE
The Malkavian was declared to be an *idiot* by Lesser Harpy of Spokane, Theodore Hamilton. For his continued disregard for the station of others, I find him to be *insolent.* I am hoping that Mr. White will learn to control his tongue, at least in public, lest his social credibility get further flushed into the bay.
- DOC WILLIAMS
I’ve seen a side of him I never expected to see. I’m not sure if it is art, but it has started a lot of rumors. Clearly he is not yet as *feared* by his opponents as we would hope. I'm sure he will set that right to order.
- THE NOSFERATU
- The Nosferatu Primogen, NidHogg has been viewed as *tactless* by many in our fair domain in recent weeks. He has proven to me that his lacking social skills are not in balance with the other contributions he has made to the stability and defense of this domain. Therefore, I would like it known that I do not find him *tactless* any longer.
- I have been considering several candidates for Lesser Harpy. My first choice will certainly raise eyebrows since the recent conflicts with her clan. I have chosen Miss Snow to be my first Lesser Harpy because she is quite *informative* and qualified for the job and also because the Nosferatu have been overshadowed by the scandals of a few loud individuals. That is a shame and I am happy to do my small part to help restore their good name.
- THE BRUJAH
The new Brujah Primogen (replacing the late Gilda Myers) the *revered* Katara Millstone wishes it known that Clan Brujah supports the Harpy of Seattle and finds him to be *wise* enough to do the position honor. Thank you, Katara.
Cody Octavian of Clan Brujah announced that he was leaving behind his anarch ways and joining the Camarilla. While it will take a long time and a great deal of work to gain the respect and trust of the Camarilla, Prince Emeric Belasco *acknowledged* Mr. Octavian and declared that he found him to be *resourceful* for his loyalty to the Camarilla. Prince Wentworth of Spokane has also congratulated Mr. Octavian on a wise decision and offered to host him in the Lilac City for what must surely be an interesting evening.
- THE ASSAMITES
The Assamites have finally arrived, but have not yet declared a Primogen, although they have already made a good impression on the city, fighting against our enemies in our continuing struggle to rescue Primogen Gogol from our enemies.
- CONFLICTS
There are a number of conflicts that have happened in the city this week. We are doing a number of investigations and hope to have more information soon.
- Rumors that Primogen Raven (Gangrel) and Primogen NidHogg (Nosferatu) have come to deadly blows are true. The facts of the incident are still being brought forward.
- The Anarch Miguel Vasquez is accused of locating and infiltrating the personal haven of Primogen NidHogg, destroying his servitors and nearly killing him. All Kindred are cautioned to double check their security and take precautions at all times.
- The Anarch MacCloud was interrogated by the Primogen Council concerning the Nosferatu Grendel. It became clear that Grendel had been mentally damaged in a way relating to his close friendship with the Anarchs. Grendel apparently, has since been destroyed by parties unknown since then. It is sad, but a fitting warning to those who would try to play both sides against the middle. Neither side will appreciate it and you may find yourself in a great deal of danger. Nosferatu Primogen NidHogg has offered a blood boon to anyone who can bring him the killer staked or in topor.
- Primogen Ladislav Gogol of the Tremere remains the captive of a mortal wizard of some sort. It is my hope that he is rescued quickly and that his abductors have only a short time to regret their actions.
- REMINDERS
- The *Honorable* Keeper Stephen Court, lately favored by Prince Wentworth of Spokane, continues to wait for people to volunteer to host parties so that he can have a real competition. I hope that my casino night on November 3 will not be the last of his parties, but so few have the courage to step forward.
Of course some people think that even trying to have a party contest when the city isn’t even fully secured is a bad idea. At least that is what they tell me. I suppose we will find out when and if Keeper Court’s party contest ends. If it is a success he will be a visionary. If he fails, the gossip about his priorities will not end for a long time.
- Finally in closing, I would like to remind you to log your boons as soon as you get them. An unregistered boon is worthless and no Harpy is compelled to enforce it. If I am too busy to approach at a gathering you are welcome to write it down and slip it to me or send me a private message by other means.
