Klaus is a fat, jolly old man with rosy cheeks. He is also murderous and insane. It is said that the only kindness in his heart is for children.
He ruled Seattle for many decades. Before then, he lived in Germany where it was rumored that he engaged in all manner of dark practices, but he was so ancient and potent that the local vampires were too afraid of him.
In late 1953, Gustov Strauss and Talia had a private meeting with Klaus and somehow convinced him to surrender praxis to Strauss. The court was stunned. A vocal Brujah named Strike protested and was mentally neutered by Klaus.
Klaus lived in Capital Hill in a rainbow colored house that occasionally disappeared. This house has not been seen since the Cathayan invasion.
