Background Information:
Karsh was a Captain in the Ottoman Empire when it signed a peace treaty with Persia. Karsh believed that the Empire could defeat Persia, but submitted to the Sultan. Four of his fellow Janisaaries took advantage of the negotiations and killed several of the diplomats. Karsh was blamed and sentenced to death. He was thrown to the starving wolves.
It was expected that he would die, but he survived. Furious, The Sultan demanded that the Vizer find a wolf that could kill Karsh. The Vizer found an old man at the marketplace who had such a wolf and promised that Karsh would die. The wolf came to Karsh and offered him immortality for service, Karsh agreed.
Karsh was given a generation to settle his affairs before his service. Twenty five years later, the Empire was secure and the wolf returned and took him to Europe.
Karsh the Avenger is now the great Warlord of the Camarilla. He leads the fight against the Sabbat, the Black Hand, or whatever else the Inner Council demands.
He has been quiet the last year or two, but some say that he is preparing for a new campaign.
