Background Information:

Ferox was the first Gargoyle to openly rebel against the Tremere. At first, this endeared him to many. However, his mind snapped. He came to reguard himself as a literal angel and other clans such as nosferatu as the wingless leaders of the failed angelic revolt in heaven. He has since devoted himself to protecting the church, sometimes to the point of breaking the Masquerade.

This is why Ferox is on the Red List. More than once, he has helped hunters kill kindred and then escape.

There is a rumor that Ferox is actively sought by the Sabbat. If Ferox joins that Sect, a new clan can be born in the Sabbat almost overnight.
