Character Name: Eban El Lahiki
Clan: Assamite
Player Name: NPC
Email Address: Pending
Background Information:
Eban El Lahiki first came to world wide attention during the Anarch Revolt. He was known to be a savage warrior and frighteningly capable among the Camarilla. He showed a different side when the Mountain sent him to be one of the diplomats negotiating the Treaty of Thorns.
Despite his hundreds of victories, the Assamite scorn about their treatment at the hands on the Camarilla spread to him. After a few hundred years of being marginalized by the rank and file of the clan, Eban El Lahiki did the unthinkable and left the Mountain.
He roamed the world searching for a home.
In the early 19th century, Ancelin seized praxis of Boston. She ruled Boston for several decades until the assamite Eban el-Lahiki arrived. They had fought during the Anarch Revolt and negotiated over minor details during the finalization of the Treaty of Thorns. Many expected bloodshed when they met the third time.
Instead, they fell in love. The scandal cost Ancelin Blanchard much of her standing and Praxis, but to his surprise she did not change her mind. They decided their love was worth the price.
When the Assamites left the Mountain en mass, Eban El Lahik offered them a place and a home. When the Inner Council offered a place to the assamites in the Camarilla, Ancelin Blanchard suddenly appeared to be a visionary. She used her new found prestige to make herself Harpy of Boston and then later at the last conclave, the Royal Harpy.
Since then, many have expected her to capitalize on her new standing and seize praxis back from Everett Blake. Thus far, she has been content with pushing Eban El Lahiki into the Seneshal position.
Many believe that Eban El Lahiki will be offered the office of Justicar at the 2008 Conclave.
