Anarch Free States:
The Anarch Free States are a collection of Anarch controlled cities that range from Portland to San Diego. San Franciso was conquered by the Cathayans in 1999. Los Angeles ceeded from the Anarch Free States in 1997.
Anarch Free States
Christopher Houghton was a toreador that was kicked out of Boston in 1830. He moved to LA for freedom and saw the potential in California. He used his vampire influence to encourage the movie studio system and was pondering where to take the city when Jeremy MacNeil arrived. The two of them became fast friends. Dozens of vampires attracted to the freedom of California flocked to Hollywood.
In 1944, Jeremy MacNeil organized the anarchs into gangs and killed all of the known elders that lived in California. They took city after city and shocked the world by being able to keep them.
L.A. was the keystone of the Anarch Free States until Jeremy MacNeil disappeared in 1997.
The Cathayans took advantage of the choas and attached California seizing San Franciso. With the Anarch Free States in choas, Mia Wells had a difficult choice. To gain support from the Camarilla, she claimed praxis.
Mia Wells and her gang, collectively known as the Children of the Phoenix, drove them back and joined the Camarilla. She now keeps a tight lid on the violence and maintains the Masquerade.
