Special Election for City Council Seat, 9/12/2007

U.S. District Judge Sarah Vance announced a special election on October 22th for the recently vacated City Councilman position. Steven Webber formally held the position until recent scandals caused him to be ousted.

In a surprise move, Seattle District Attorney Dan Satterberg announced his intentions to run for office. Dan Satterberg has served as district attorney for two years and previously served as a junior partner for Cromwell and Black, one of the largest law firms in Seattle.

Pawn X-Change Owner Death Under Investigation, 9/12/2007

Several suspects have been questioned in the recent murder of Aurora Pawn Exchange owner Bernie Springs. An anonymous police source revealed that many of the suspects have militant Jewish group.

Bernie Springs had recently uncovered the 1927 painting "Oriental Woman Seated on Floor," by Henri Matisse. The masterpiece has been missing since 1940 when it was stolen by Nazis forces from French art dealer Paul Rosenberg. The Rosenberg family has been looking for this painting for several decades. It was believed to have sent to Argentina shortly before the end of World War II.

Pop Star Dizzy J. Thorn Arrested, 9/07/2007

Pop Star Dizzy J. Thorn was cited Friday for public indecency, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and assault and battery. Reportedly, she clamored out of her limousine in downtown Seattle wearing only a thong and stilettos. She had just finished a performance at the EMP Liquid Lounge. Thorn approached several pedestrians and asked them for a cigarette. When they declined her panhandling, she became aggressive and grabbed a woman by the hair screaming. “Give me a damn cigarette you bitch!”

The victim of Thorn’s assault, Jenna King said, “I never imagined I would meet Dizzy Thorn. Especially like that. And she was strong. She actually tore my hair out by the roots. I’m going to put it on Ebay.”

Attorney Darrin Miller told the press after the bail hearing, “Dizzy’s going through a rough time and she hopes her fans will support her.”

Bizarre Cat Murders Investigation Continues 8/29/2007

During a press conference this afternoon, Police Chief Gideroy admitted that there was an investigation into the strange feline disappearances. He confirmed that District Attorney had subpoenaed two individuals with possible information. He denied that they were actual suspects. Legal insiders have reported that two suspects have been subpoenaed for question in regards to drug trafficking, child pornography, and 42 counts of bestiality and animal cruelty.

Police Chief Gideroy answered no comment as to when he would be making arrests and denied that one of the suspects was a member of the Seattle Police Department.
